Get ready through the Brussels (Trail) Summer Academy

Scheduled through early September, these summer training sessions are ideal for boosting your trail running workouts and your preparation for the Ecotrail.

Ecotrail Brussels 2026 Medal

Comprehensive Mobility Plan: Click the following link for information on how to get to the event's starting point

For runners in the 80km race, since public transportation does not run before 5 a.m., we recommend using the Indigo parking lot next to the racetrack (€2/hour). A "drop-off/pick-up" zone is available in front of the lot.

4) TTT – Train By Train Tour: The EcoTrail Brussels (formerly EuropaTrail Brussels) is part of a European tour of trail runs accessible by train called TTT, or Trail By Train Tour.

The TTT brings together events committed to protecting the environment. What makes them unique?

First, their departure points are all located near a train station. Second, the organizers are committed to taking steps to reduce participants’ transportation carbon footprint (approximately 85% of the total carbon footprint).

    • Available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

    • Reservations are required via the registration form—no same-day sign-ups.
       
  • Location: Start/Finish Area at the Boitsfort Racetrack

  • Changing Rooms: The changing rooms and showers are located at the golf club, just a few meters from the finish line. To enter, you’ll need to pick up a ticket at the Zatopek booth.

What happens if the competition is canceled?

In case of cancellation, the registration fee will be refunded, minus €2 to cover costs already incurred.

The easiest thing to do is to re-register by changing one letter in your first or last name.

Can I cancel my registration in case of injury or if I am ultimately unable to attend?

No cancellation (even in the event of injury) entitles you to a refund 30 days before the event. Before that, a refund is possible (excluding bank and administrative fees of approximately 15%).

Day 30: You may choose between a refund (excluding bank and administrative fees of approximately 15%) or transferring your registration fee to a future edition or another upcoming Zatopek event. 

30 days to go: You can choose to postpone your registration to a future edition or event of Zatopek by contacting us via email.

Course Markings

The route is marked with tape, sometimes supplemented by markings on the ground. However, we recommend that you also use a GPS device (mobile app, watch, or other) to avoid any problems in case of unforeseen circumstances (tape removed, markings erased, etc.). You will find all the information you need on the website (see "Races").

Can I participate with my dog?

Yes, if you keep it on a leash and start at the back of the pack so as not to get in the way of the other runners.
